In December 2024, Pakistan reached a major milestone as its IT exports surged to a record-breaking $348 million, marking a 15% increase year-over-year and a 12% rise from the previous month.
This achievement also exceeded the average monthly export value of $299 million recorded over the past year, highlighting a steady upward trajectory in IT exports for the 15th consecutive month since October 2023.
On a larger scale, Pakistan’s total IT exports for the first half of fiscal year 2025 amounted to $1.86 billion, showcasing an impressive 28% growth compared to the same period last year. This remarkable progress comes despite the challenges posed by ongoing internet connectivity issues within the country.
